Objectives of Workshop
To provide general
awareness about the full range and scope of HEC Digital Library
resources, while developing the requisite knowledge and skills
to effectively utilize these resources.
To examine copyright
and licensing implications for electronic journal and scholarly
database usage
Achievements
The workshops proved
to be a vital mechanism for disseminating information about the Digital
Library Resources. Previously, participants were uncertain of where
to find information regarding resources that were available to them
through their respective Institutions. The promotional material supplied
and demonstration of the Digital Library website helped in clarifying
where the information was to be sought.
